Dental Receptionist - Cove Dental of Hammonton - Metuchen, NJ

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and proficiency in dental office systems. Pay Rate is Negotiable based on Experience!
Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments while minimizing scheduling conflicts.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation through effective data entry.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in compliance with clinic policies.
Process patient billing and insurance claims using Dentrix/ Dexis Software
Assist with clerical tasks including filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Experience with Dental Software Programs
Knowledge of dental coding and health information management is desirable.
Strong clerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards patients and staff.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Specialty ( Oral Surgery, Periodontics) a plus!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
