OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our private dental team. We are located adjacent to Lehigh valley mall. Hours are 9-5 Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Schedule is 1 patient per hour. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience in our dental clinic. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in various procedures. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Perform professional dental cleanings and apply preventive materials as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records management and scheduling appointments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic to uphold safety standards.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical imaging techniques.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic environment is preferred.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar practice management software is an asset.
Knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
