Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate is passionate about periodontal health, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a specialty setting. You will play a vital role in helping patients manage periodontal disease and maintain long-term oral health through education, treatment, and prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct periodontal assessments and charting (including probing and recession measurements)
Perform thorough scaling and root planing, maintenance cleanings, and localized antimicrobial delivery
Educate patients on periodontal health, home care techniques, and disease prevention
Collaborate with the periodontist and other team members on treatment planning and patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
Ensure OSHA and infection control compliance in treatment areas
Foster a positive and calming experience for all patients
Qualifications:
Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in Texas
Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification (preferred or required depending on state)
Minimum [5] years of experience in dental hygiene (periodontal experience a plus, but not required)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable using digital charting and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
