Pleasant Hill Family Dentistry is looking for a part-time or full-time dental hygienist.
We are a small one-doctor office that has a 30+ year reputation in the Pleasant Hill community. We have great patients and a great staff!
Our office culture encompasses a laid-back, employee-centric, and friendly atmosphere. We schedule one hour cleanings and team members will never lose paid hours for no-show patients.
The office is open Monday-Thursday and every other Friday for half a day. We currently run one to two hygiene rooms each Friday we're open. So, if desired, there is potential to have most Fridays off! Other hours will be determined upon hire.

Job Requirements

Current License with the State of Iowa
CPR Certification
Radiology Certification
Local Anesthetic Certification

Daily Responsibilities:

cleaning, scaling and polishing teeth
daily housekeeping
cleaning/sterilizing of instruments
time management
making and processing X-rays
charting/note-taking
communicating possible treatment with dentist
patient education

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $37.00 - $41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
