Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and promoting preventive dental practices. This role involves working closely with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, to deliver comprehensive dental hygiene services in a friendly and professional environment.
Schedule
Monday: 9- 5pm
Possibility of another day of HYG for the right candidate
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical records and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to the needs of younger patients.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Proficient in documentation review and maintaining medical records accurately.
