Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients of all ages.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist in the management of patient medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control standards.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient records, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including assisting in procedures when necessary.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education.

Skills

Proficient in working within a dental clinic setting, with experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and infection control protocols.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing medical records accurately.
Compassionate approach towards patient care, especially with pediatric patients.
