Dental Hygienist - Dental Care of Morrisville - Morrisville, NC

We are growing again!!! We are searching for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our wonderful and growing team. We are a private practice located with an awesome doctor you will love working with.
We have a beautiful office with great technology. We have a CBCT, intraoral scanner, digital x-ray sensors, handheld x-ray units and a digital workflow.

Dental Hygienist duties & Responsibilities
● Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable
● Clean dental instruments after procedures
● Perform preliminary dental examinations
● Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities
● Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
● Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages
● Provide post-operative health education to patients
● Create dental impressions as requested
● Take radiographic images and utilize an intra-oral camera
● Work with dentist to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease
● Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history
Dental Hygienist Requirements
● Dental Hygiene degree and license required
● At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
● Current CPR certification
● An understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
● Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
● Ability to administer Local Anesthesia is an advantage, but not necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
