OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients, and assisting in various dental procedures. Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of infection control during procedures.
Document patient medical histories and review documentation for accuracy.
Take and review vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
Assist in the management of medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including general dentistry procedures.
Maintain knowledge of anatomy as it relates to oral health and treatment planning.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient scheduling, record keeping, and treatment planning.

Experience

Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is essential.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management systems is an advantage.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and principles.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providing education on oral health topics.
Experience with documentation review and maintaining accurate medical records is beneficial.
