Are you a passionate General Dentist seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference?
The Iowa Primary Care Association is in search of a full-time General Dentist to join a brand new community health center dental site in Spencer, IA.
About the health center:
This community health center is a cornerstone of comprehensive primary care, serving as a critical resource for under-resourced patients. They integrate medical, dental, and behavioral health to ensure ensure all patients receive coordinated, all-encompassing care, under one roof.
Position Details:
Practice in a brand new clinic location in a community that is highly receptive and excited to receive care close to home. New grads are encouraged to apply!
Clinic Hours:
Mon- Fri: 8am-5pm
Your schedule: Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm (open to flexibility)
Evenings: none
Weekends: none
Call schedule: none
Patient load: 14 per day + hygiene checks
Operatories: 7
Team: 2 dentist (including this position), 1 dental hygienist, and 5 dental assistants.
EHR: Epic Wisdom
What you will typically see: hygiene checks, limiteds, treatment, extractions, root canals, dentures on a variety of patient populations, some who have not had dental care in years
What you will typically refer out: endo molar extractions but try to do as much as possible within the dental clinic
Requirements
DDS/DMD degree from an approved dental school
Benefits
Competitive Salary: $180,000 - $230,000/year based on experience.
Sign on Bonus: $20,000
Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for up to $50,000 for a two-year commitment, with renewal options through state and federal programs
Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and short and long-term disability insurance.
Professional Support: Professional dues and fees covered.
Malpractice Insurance: FTCA malpractice coverage.
Continuing Education: $3,000/year and 5 days for CME
Time Off: 160 hours PTO available for full time salaried employees and 8 paid holidays per year (+1 floating holiday after 6 months of employment).
Retirement Plan: 401k with 5% employer match.
