Dental Hygienist - Davidson Family Dentistry - Urbandale, IA

We are looking to add to our team! Davidson Family Dentistry in Urbandale was voted the Metro's Best Dental Office in 2021, 2022, 2023; and named Urbandale's 2022 Business of the Year. This is an immediate full-time or part-time position with flexible hours and benefits! We are a busy office, with great teamwork!

As a hygienist, you're an integral part of providing quality healthcare to patients. Some tasks in a typical day include...-Reviewing, recording, and maintaining patient records with XLDent.-Exposing necessary digital x-rays, using a sensor, through Dexis.-Sharpening and sterilization of instruments.-Examining and recording periodontal health and providing patient education to instill good preventive dental habits.
- 60 minute appointment times, with extra time in Dr chair for new patient appointments.-Charting conditions, creating treatment plans, and providing education about diagnosed treatment by dentist.-Maintaining operatory and dental equipment.
Successful candidates are:-Licensed to practice dental hygiene in the state of Iowa-CPR Certified-Local Anesthetic Certified-Nitrous-Oxide Monitoring Certified-Computer literate-Professional-Friendly-Compassionate-Team player-Time efficient
