Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. You will be responsible for performing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Apply preventive materials, such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
Maintain accurate medical records, including patient history and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Take and record vital signs as needed.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and documentation.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to enhance patient care.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with infection control standards and protocols.
Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate patients effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
