Responsibilities

Utilize Open Dental and other dental office systems to maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Work with patients to provide gentle care tailored to their needs, fostering a positive experience.
Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dentistry to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Skills

Proficiency in using Open Dental practice management software is preferred.
