Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols, as well as the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Assist in the documentation of patient medical histories and treatment plans.
Review and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs and medical coding.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain infection control standards in accordance with clinic policies.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and infection control practices.
Experience in patient care within a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with vital signs monitoring is an asset.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
