Registered Dental Hygienist position is immediately available for highly motivated candidate with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients
Be detail oriented to accurately evaluate patients periodontal status
Conduct comprehensive mouth screenings; check oral and health history
Provide competent dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
Educate patients by providing instructions for oral care following all hygiene treatment
Educate patients of all ages on proper brushing and home care
Act as a resource and assist patients with any follow up treatment planning and schedule maintenance
Collaborating with Dr. Rule and Dr. Scott to recommend treatment plans
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Maintain proper sterilization and sanitation techniques
Monitor supplies

Skills

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. OSHA,HIPAA)
Outstanding communication skills
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Valid licence to practice
