Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and practices.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canals.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing and treating dental conditions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices with experience in pediatric and surgical dentistry preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Familiarity with dental practice management software is a plus.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Understanding of medical records management and adherence to HIPAA standards.

Pay: $500.00 - $1,200.00 per day
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
