Job Description
Job OverviewWe're seeking someone who is reliable, personable, and passionate about patient care. Experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply! As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Regular Business hours: 8:00 AM â 5:00PM
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments using Dentrix or similar software.
Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during patient visits.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when applicable.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in pediatrics is a plus, enhancing our ability to cater to younger patients.
Familiarity with infection control standards within a dental office setting.
Solid understanding of general dentistry practices.
Competence in using Dentrix or similar dental management software for medical records management.
Ability to accurately assess and record vital signs as part of patient evaluations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
