Job Overview$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!!! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and the ability to assist with both routine and specialized dental procedures.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and managing supplies.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging.
Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, including coordinating with the dental receptionist for patient flow.
Maintain accurate patient records using software such as Dentrix.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Familiarity with endodontics and oral surgery is a plus.
Proficiency in using 3D scanners for dental imaging is desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
