Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a sterile environment through aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and assist with treatment plans.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
Monitor vital signs and perform medical imaging as needed, particularly in pediatric cases.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license
Proficiency in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong understanding of dental terminology and general dentistry
Experience with Eaglesoft and Dentrix software
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
Ability to perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
