Dental Assistant - Riverglen Dental - Columbus, OH

Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing patient care- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations- Utilize dental software systems (such as Dentrix) to update patient information and schedule appointments
-Maintenance of general dentistry equipment, sterilization, and organization of the office
-Follow through on tracking of Lab Cases
Qualifications- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment- Familiarity with dental imaging software and intraoral scanning systems- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Experience working with nitrous oxide
