Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with administrative tasks within the dental clinic.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety regulations during all procedures.
Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment tailored to their needs.

Skills

Proficient in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology for capturing precise dental impressions is a plus.
Understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures for accurate record-keeping.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring to assist in patient assessments when necessary.
Experience in endodontics is beneficial for supporting specialized treatments.
Strong infection control practices to maintain a safe clinical environment.
