We are looking for a dedicated and Fun Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an essential part of our dental clinic, providing high-quality care to our patients. Job Overview:As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for conducting dental cleanings, examining patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis, and providing preventive dental care. You will work closely with our dentists to ensure the overall oral health of our patients.
Responsibilities:- Perform professional dental cleanings and scaling- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Take dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Administer fluoride treatments- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:- Certification or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist- Open Dental knowledge but can be taught. Very user friendly- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental imaging techniques- Experience working in a dental clinic
- Ability to take vital signs and record medical histories accurately
