## OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
## Duties- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Instruct patients on proper dental hygiene and postoperative care- Take and record patient medical and dental histories- Schedule patient appointments- Maintain accurate patient records
## Skills- Strong anatomy knowledge- Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures- Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately- Knowledge of medical terminology and imaging techniques- Proficient in aseptic techniques to prevent infections- Experience with Eaglesoft or Epic software is a plus- Understanding of medical coding and documentation practices
