Registered Dental Hygienist - Dena T. Marcus, DDS Inc - Sonoma, CA

Seeking a great team member to perform qualitly work in a family focussed state of the art office.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take digital x-rays and panoramic x-rays- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients as needed- Conduct patient assessments and review medical history- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical records
Qualifications:- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of California- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Proficiency in using dental software- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment- Attention to detail for accurate medical documentation and record keeping
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
