Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Old Tappan, NJ

Seeking a highly motivated and productive individual with great organizational and communication skills to lead the office and bring revenue. Office manager with front desk duties for solo practitioner office.
Excellent phone etiquette, interpersonal skills and Professional appearance in the work place are required.

The front desk coordinator's responsibilities include entering patient information onto our data system, answering patientsâ questions, and arranging referrals to other dental specialists. You should also be able to prepare billing statements, set financial arrangements and collect payments.
To be successful as a front desk coordinator, you should be able to organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas. Ultimately, a top-performing dental receptionist will perform all duties in a manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
Preparing patientsâ daily schedules for the dental staff.
Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
Communicating with medical insurance providers to submit pre authorization.
Dental Insurance automatic verification.
Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, scanning and faxing.
Requesting patients to leave reviews, joint social media and Alle program.
Cleaning and maintaining the office in presentable appearance at all times.
Events coordinator to attract patients to the office.
Promote our services to other businesses.
Organized and lead marketing around the town events.
Requirements: Associate or Bachelors degree. Certification in office administration, dental administration, or related fields is advantageous.
Proven experience working in a dental office.
Sound knowledge of dental terminology.
Proficient in dental practice management software (Denticon preferable).
Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
Sound computer knowledge.
Excellent telephone etiquette.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Denticon software experience a plus!
Spanish speaker, helpful.

Hourly Full time and two Saturdays a month ( start 32 to 40 hours a week ). M,T & Th 8:30 to 8 pm. Wednesday 9 to 5 pm, Two Saturdays a month 7:30 am to 6 pm.
Then salary position.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
