OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in various procedures.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments and record medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and develop medical imaging, such as X-rays.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate medical records using software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office is preferred, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry being a plus.
Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
Experience with medical records management and patient assessment techniques is highly desirable.
Skills in using medical imaging equipment and understanding of dental assisting practices are beneficial.
