The Dental Assistant acts as a key representative of the practice and as one of the first touch points in the patient relationship cycle. This individual will be depended upon to offer support to the practice owner and to patients alike by assessing needs and acting to resolve those needs quickly and efficiently.

The Dental Assistant will possess strong relationship skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-centric environment. Responsibilities:

• Enthusiastic, persistent, friendly and professional
• Soothe and comfort patients.
• Obtain patient information and dental history.
• Assist the dentist in various procedures.
• Sterilize & disinfect all instruments, equipment, work areas & treatment rooms.
• Clean and sterilize all dental instruments after surgery.
• Setup & take dental x-rays.
• maintain inventory of dental supplies.
• Provide excellent service to our patients and apply effective troubleshooting techniques under pressure
• Ensuring patients have a VIP experience
• most training is on the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience, Competencies and Education:

• Highschool diploma or GED preferred
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent presentation and delivery skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Desire to help others
• Competent problem solver
• Valid certs for X-Rays, coronal polish, and Dental Assisting program
