Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Take and develop dental radiographs, as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols at all times.
Document patient records accurately, including medical histories and treatment notes.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and be open minded to up-and-coming technologies.

Qualifications

Valid HI state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred, but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Proficient in using dental systems and tools necessary for patient care.
