Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Holly Tree Dental. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality dental care and education, building and growing relationships with amazing patients, and contributing to our mission of enhancing smiles and overall health. This position is located in a beautiful, clean, well-maintained, welcoming environment where team happiness, patient comfort, and quality outcomes are our priorities.
Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Customizing recommendations to each patient's desires, abilities, and situations important to the way we build and sustain our patient relationships.
Assist in the management of patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and fellow team members.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care and support during procedures.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Massachusetts.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and infection control procedures.
Experience with dental imaging techniques such as radiology and intraoral camera.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Our typical work week consists of four days: Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays (Fri 7-1 only). We are closed on Wednesdays. It is a very nice schedule for your work/life balance! Your appointment times for adult prophy visits vary from 50-60 minutes, and 90 minutes for a new patient experience, which is a special relationship-building visit in our practice.
