We are a boutique dental practice located in the heart of West Los Angeles. Our office is managed by a skilled and patient-centered team committed to exceptional patient experiences.
About the role
We are looking for an outgoing, organized, and motivated Dental Office Receptionist. You will play a key role in helping manage the daily operational needs of our office, including welcoming patients, managing the appointment schedule, handling check-ins and check-outs, updating patient records, and communicating with patients, specialists, and other service providers.
We use Eaglesoft as our dental practice management software and prior experience is a big plus.
Schedule: Full-time, in-office
Hours:
- Monday (9am - 5pm)
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (8am - 5pm)
- Saturday (8am - 1pm)
Compensation:
$20 - $30 per hour depending on experience

What you’ll own:
- Prepare the office prior to opening (e.g., pull patient files, turn on devices, etc.).
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure effective patient check-in, including, but not limited to, obtaining all necessary consents, confirming that account information is accurate and up to date, and promptly notifying team members of each patient’s arrival.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and update patient records in Eaglesoft.
- Collect payments from patients after treatment and ensure proper recordkeeping.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Manage the office calendar and appointment reminders.
- Make and answer phone calls, emails, and text messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and front desk.
- Provide ad hoc support to other team members.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- At least one year of previous experience in a front desk role of a dental office or medical office.
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong computer skills, including ability to independently learn new software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including proper grammatical skills).
- Respectful, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Working knowledge of dental office processes.
- Japanese language proficiency is a bonus.
