Duties

Perform a variety of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Manage patient records and treatment plans using Dentrix and Eaglesoft software.
Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and preventive care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience or knowledge in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques and prosthodontics is advantageous.
Proficient understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices in a clinical setting.
Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is a plus.
