1330 Dental is looking for a full-time assistant to join our team. We are looking for the right individual to TRAIN. Adaptability, positive attitude, and the motivation to learn is a must. We are a friendly, busy office focused on patient care and providing a positive, upbeat dental experience. It is necessary to be flexible and willing to be a part of a team.
We are looking for an organized, hard-working individual who loves people and would work well in a busy, fast-paced general dental practice. We are looking for someone who is upbeat, patient, positive and well-organized. Someone who is task focused and able to adapt to patient appointment changes.
Our experienced dental assistants will be providing one-on-one training.
Training includes:
- Seating patients and ensuring patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
- Assisting with patients completing medical histories
-How to assist the dentist chairside
-Setting up and assisting for general dentistry
-How to take x-rays
-Infection control/ OSHA compliance of the practice
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
-How to take dental impressions on a patient
-Tracking lab cases
- Assisting with lab tasks as needed
-Patient phone calls and treatment plan monitoring
*Being a dental assistant will include obtaining your dental radiology license within 90 days*
The general schedule would be Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00PM, this includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break, and Fridays: 8:00AM to 12:00pm. There are occasional exceptions to see emergency patients.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
