OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our practice is well established in Vergennes for many years. We are well liked by the community and work hard to provide excellent care. You do not have to sell. We work with specialists so periodontal care will be provided at your discretion. Mostly family dental care ranging from small children to older adults. We have a busy office and will work with you to set a schedule you are comfortable with. Our regular hours are Tuesday to Friday 8 to 5 with an hour off for lunch. If you require assistance with a Vermont license we will assist you with that cost. We are seeking a full time position but will also consider part time applications. we offer full benefits as you may require. paid time off, holidays etc. If you have any interest please contact Dr. Congalton to discuss different options confidentially.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Take radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient medical records accurately
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dentist to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygienist license
Experience with Eaglesoft
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
