Currently, Yellowstone Family Dental is currently seeking an experience Hygiene Assistant for our office in Billings, MT!
Duties/Responsibilities
Prepares treatment room for the patient.
Prepares patient for hygiene treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating patients.
Works the hygiene recall list to schedule patients for the follow-up exam.
Provides instrumentation to the hygienist by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for hygienist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
Documents dental care services by charting in patient records as directed by dentist or hygienist.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Requirements/Qualifications
2+ year of hygiene assisting experience required
Ability to be a team-player and communicate effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent
