Registered Dental Hygienist - BridgeCreek Prosthetic Dentistry - Denver, CO

Job Description:
BridgeCreek Prosthetic Dentistry is looking for a fun and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our 4-day a week practice. We are a non-insurance based practice that has over 45 years of serving our community, and are very proud of our reputation! Our hours of operation are Mondays through Wednesdays, 8am - 5pm and Thursdays 7:00am - 2:30pm (and closed on Fridays). You will be responsible for conducting dental hygiene assessments, providing patient education on oral hygiene, and performing preventative dental procedures. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment. Pay is $60 - $72 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement
-Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed-Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques-Take dental x-rays and record findings-Maintain accurate patient records- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
-Valid dental hygiene license-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Ability to work well in a team environment-Self-motivated and dedicated to improving oral health
-Proficiency in dental anatomy and oral health conditions-Knowledge of medical records management systems-Strong understanding of infection control protocols
