Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Cherokee, IA

Jeneary Dental in Le Mars, IA is seeking a motivated and personable RDH for a growing practice. We are expanding our practice to keep up with our growing patient base. Full-time employment is available immediately Monday - Thursday. We are looking for an exceptional team member to join our office. You must have a great attitude and be a TEAM PLAYER!
General hygienist duties include:
Participate in the morning meeting, and provide information regarding new/existing patients for the day. Welcome and seat patient cheerfully. Prepare and properly set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures. Review and update patient's health history; chart progress, treatment diagnosed, and oral health care instructions. Dental prophylaxis. Digital X rays. Recognize early signs of periodontal disease and provide SRP for those patients. Be able to communicate findings to doctor and patient. Develop and present treatment plans. Application of topical fluoride varnish and sealants. Schedule appropriate re-care appointments. Assist in sterilization duties. Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards. Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner. Must maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance in accordance with assigned schedule and time off policies. Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings displaying exceptional time management in order to set and maintain own and subordinate procedures/task schedule. Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards. Use down time constructively. Adheres to office policies. Presents in a clean, well-groomed professional manner. Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically. Be flexible and understand that your job duties may change from time to time and you may be asked to help out in other areas of the office.
