OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent patient care. The Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant will play a vital role in managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. It is a small office, with low stress environment. Only 1 doctor and 1 hygienist in office.

Availability
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7:30 am-4:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
- Potential Admin hours on Monday from 8 am - 2 pm.
Duties
Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the clinic and assist with check-in procedures.
Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and maintaining confidentiality.
Assist with taking X-rays.
Provide information to patients regarding treatment plans, insurance options, and payment processes.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Collaborate with staff members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Dental assist with doctor on procedures.
Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries or directing them to appropriate personnel.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
OpenDental and Apteryx Software
Familiarity with general dentistry practices
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and the ability to perform X-ray procedures is a plus.
Proficiency in managing medical records and understanding vital signs is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff professionally.
