A Day In The Life Of :
What You Will Be Doing:
Performing prophies, gingival scaling, SRPs, perio maintenance, and administering local anesthesia as needed.
Taking x-rays and intraoral pictures.
Delivering patient education and creating treatment plans.
Maintaining accurate patient medical records, including updating medical histories, medications, progress notes, and conducting periodontal charting.
Assisting co-workers during downtime and collaborating to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.

Work Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:30 AM â 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch)
Education Requirements:
Associates degree or successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene.
State license required.
CPR certification.
X-ray certification.
