OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality dental care in a patient-centered environment. You will work alongside a team of professionals to deliver comprehensive dental services, ensuring the highest standards of care while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
Provide pediatric dental care and ensure a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Experience in general dentistry, with additional skills in prosthodontics being a plus.
Familiarity with Dentrix software for managing patient records and appointments.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients.
Ability to perform dental extractions and other surgical procedures as needed.
