About us
We are a portable dental practice that has been servicing nursing homes since 2009. Our mission is to provide a convenient way to improve oral healthcare to those who have difficulty getting to a dental office. We are seeking compassionate dental assistants to help provide the treatment these patients deserve.
This position is for a dental hygienist living in Macon to assist with treatment to residents in nursing homes. The facilities we serve are all over Georgia, so travel is required. We provide a car and cover all travel expenses. Overnight stay is NOT required. The position is part time. The days are sometimes long due to travel location.
Daily Responsibilities:

Meet dentist at the facility
Travel will be required depending on location of visit
Set up and break down equipment in clinic area
Assist dentist will procedures and cleanings
Break down clinic
Take instruments back to office for sterilization
Repack unit for next travel day
Dental screenings without the dentist
Hygiene days without the dentist

Services provided include exams, oral cancer screenings, prophy, cavitron, x-rays, fillings, extractions, dentures and denture relines and repairs.

Registered Dental Hygienist in Georgia

Benefits:

Compensation is $300 - $400/day depending on distance traveled
