OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental practice. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in administrative tasks related to a dental office environment.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments efficiently and manage the dental calendar to optimize patient flow.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Process patient information, including insurance verification and dental billing tasks.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and faxes related to patient scheduling and inquiries.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is required.
Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in managing dental records.
Proficient in administrative tasks including phone etiquette, data entry, and office management.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Knowledge of dentaâl billing procedures is required.
