Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, medical terminology, and patient management systems.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy while ensuring patient comfort.
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and document findings accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review medical histories and vital signs to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for scheduling and patient records management.
Assist in medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental office operations.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry and anatomy knowledge is essential.
Familiarity with documentation review processes and compliance standards within the healthcare industry.
Experience using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Pay: $40.67 - $45.00 per hour
