OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in the prevention of dental diseases and the maintenance of overall dental hygiene.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when required.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all procedures.
Collaborate with dentists to provide optimal patient care through effective communication and teamwork.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Knowledge of human anatomy, general dentistry, and medical terminology is essential.
Familiarity with infection control procedures and aseptic techniques is required.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly with four-handed dentistry techniques.
Certification as a Dental Hygienist from an accredited program is mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix is a plus.
Ability to assist in various dental procedures as needed.
