Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) - White Oak Family Dentistry - Garner, NC

We are searching for the perfect hygienist to add to our team. We are a small but fast paced office located in Garner, NC. Ideal candidate would be clinically experienced but willing to learn new ways to care for patients and be a team player. We are willing to consider new graduates and train in office to be comfortable with a single column. Hours are 8-5 Monday through Thursday. Benefits include competitive salary, paid holidays and vacation, health and disability coverage and uniforms. Prefer someone who lives in the Garner area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients- Take dental x-rays using Romexis and Nomad- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Administer nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical coding systems using Dentrix- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately- Proficiency in using dental software system Dentrix, iTero and sleep apnea screening- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong organizational skills to manage patient schedules and records
