Dental Assistant needed in our Scottsdale, AZ dental office

Dr. Bret Standage and Dr. Craig Standage at Pima Dental is looking to hire a full time  dental assistant to join our upbeat, professional dental team.

We are a private practice in a modern office located at 101 freeway & Shea Blvd in Scottsdale Az.
Full-time, 35-40 hours.

Applicants must be team players, enthusiastic and professional.
Our practice believes in quality dentistry, where patients come first.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatment or checkup ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
• Sterilize instruments
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Take x-rays as needed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Skills

• Proven experience as dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
