** DENTAL ASSISTANT WITH 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE **

We are looking for a skilled, friendly, and organized Dental Assistant to join our privatetly owned family dental practice. This is a part time position, approximately 30 hours a week with 10 hour shifts, in a welcoming, non-corporate enviroment where patient care comes first and staff is treated like family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist in various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, and providing exceptional patient care. 

5+ YEARS OF HANDS ON DENTAL ASSISTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

Position Details: 

• Part time ( 30 hours/week) 
• Work alongside our private practice dentists
• Place back office orders, communicate with vendors, labs and OM 
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment 
• Take digital X-rays, CBCTs and IOs 
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate charting along with having patients sign consent forms chairside

Qualifications: 

• Minimum (5) years dental assisting experience 
• Knowledge of digital X-rays and chairside assisting 
• Strong communication and organization skills 
• Understanding of health & safety regulations/manage infection control 
• Ability to multitask, help and assist back office staff (Work as a team) 
• Proficient in Dentrix software 
• Ability to take direction and work well with office staff
