Job Description

Ignite Dental is seeking a dependable and friendly Part-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team in Yorba Linda.
Note: This position is for Dental Assistants only (not currently looking for RDA at this time).

Schedule:

• Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
• 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Saturdays (2x a month) 8:00a.m. -2:00p.m

This role is expected to continue through to the end of September 2025 to help support our growing practice. There is potential for a long-term opportunity beyond that period.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, professional, has excellent chairside manner, and is committed to providing outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Proficient in taking clear, clinically diagnostic radiographs
• Assisting the doctor during a variety of procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.)
• Room setup and breakdown with strict adherence to sterilization protocols
• Maintaining proper infection control procedures at all times
• Managing instrument sterilization and operatory cleanliness
• Tracking and replenishing clinical supplies as needed
• Providing a calm and positive experience for patients during their visits
• Accurately charting and recording treatment information
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA (patient privacy) and OSHA (health and safety) standards
• Supporting front office staff as needed (e.g., escorting patients, basic patient communication in person or over the phone)
