Responsibilities

Patient Exams (3 columns)

Conduct thorough dental examinations for pediatric patients, assessing oral health, development, and hygiene.

Identify any signs of dental issues such as cavities, malocclusion, or developmental concerns.

Provide age-appropriate education to both children and their parents about oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventative care.

Document patient history, treatment plans, and outcomes in a clear and detailed manner.

Treatment (1 column)

Perform necessary dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and preventative treatments (fluoride, sealants).

Provide gentle, empathetic care to children to ensure they feel comfortable and safe throughout treatment.

Work efficiently to ensure smooth patient flow and timely completion of treatments without compromising care quality.

Manage emergency situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor, ensuring patients’ well-being.

Collaboration with Support Staff

Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care and positive experience.

Communicate effectively with team members to manage patient schedules and treatment plans.

Assist in training and mentoring support staff when necessary.

Patient and Parent Communication

Build trusting relationships with both patients and their families by providing education and addressing concerns in a compassionate manner.

Provide clear post-treatment instructions and follow-up care recommendations.
