Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. We are open to full time or part time. We are open Mon- Thursday, weekends. 8 hour shifts.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all patient records are up-to-date.
Utilize dental software (Dentrix Ascend) for patient management and documentation.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with clinic standards.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, but not necessary.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with documentation review processes is essential.
Experience with dental assisting duties will be considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages.
