Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care in accordance with office protocols.
Implement infection control measures and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental practices.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Skills
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Experience working in a dental office environment.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with anatomy relevant to oral health.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software for managing medical records.
Ability to perform medical imaging procedures as required.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and care.
