Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional dental care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral health, and assisting in the overall operation of our dental clinic. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene procedures, including SRP, as well as the ability to work effectively as a team.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and comprehensive periodontal charting.
Perform dental prophys, scaling, and root planing as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. As well as inform patients about their caries risk and prevention strategies.
Maintain accurate dental records and document patient treatments using Dentrix Ascend.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, and transfer information to the front desk team for future scheduling needs.
Assist in the management of the dental clinicâs operations, including maintaining OSHA guidelines.
Stay updated on advancements in best practices in dental hygiene.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is required.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, especially when working with younger patients.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix Ascend is advantageous.
A solid understanding of dental terminology and anatomy is essential for effective patient care.
Experience with local anesthesia and laser therapy is a plus.

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
